Nancy Albanese, RN, MSN, CPNP

Nancy Albanese practices in the Mentor office of University Premier Pediatricians as part of University Hospitals Medical Practices.  She admits patients in collaboration with the physicians to University Hospitals Case Medical Center.  Nancy is a graduate of Kent State University and Case Western Reserve University MetroHealth Medical Center Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program.  She is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has a special medical interest in the feeding of newborns, pediatric nutrition and adolescent health.

Deborah Brindza, MD

Deborah Brindza, MD practices Pediatrics as part of University Hospitals and University Premier Pediatricians in Warrensville Heights.  She has admitting privileges at UH Case Medical Center and UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.  Board Certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Brindza received her medical degree from University of Cincinnati.  She completed her residency at UH Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.  Dr. Brindza has a special interest in general pediatrics and adolescent medicine.

Diane C. Burgin, MD

Dr. Diane C. Burgin practices Pediatrics in the Warrensville Heights office of University Premier Pediatricians.  She has admitting privileges at University Hospitals Case Medical Center and UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.  A graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, Dr. Burgin served her internship and residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver, Colorado.  Dr. Burgin has a special interest in General Pediatrics.  She resides in Cleveland with her husband and children.  She enjoys spending time with her family.

Maria Coutinho, MD

Dr. Maria Coutinho practices as part of University Hospitals with University Premier Pediatricians.  She sees patients in the Chesterland office and has admitting privileges at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center and other area hospitals.  Board Certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Coutinho completed her residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi and at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.  She served a fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at The Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Dr. Coutinho is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.  Dr. Coutinho enjoys practicing pediatrics with a special emphasis on preventative care, asthma, allergies, infectious and kidney diseases.  She runs a travel clinic that provides the most current CDC recommendations and immunizations for both adults and children for travel across the world.

Susan M. Dykeman, MD

Dr. Susan M. Dykeman practices Pediatrics in the Mentor and Concord offices of University Premier Pediatricians.  She has admitting privileges at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.  Board certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Dykeman is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine where she is an Associate Clinical Professor as well.  Dr. Dykeman served her residency at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.  She has a special medical interest in infants and young children.  Dr. Dykeman enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.  She also enjoys gardening.

Dr. Joy Ertel practices with University Premier Pediatricians at their Mentor and Concord offices as part of University Hospitals.  Dr. Ertel has admitting privileges at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.  Board certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Ertel is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.  She served her internship and residency at Children's Hospital Medical Center, Akron, Ohio.  Dr. Ertel has special interests in the care of newborns, skin disorders and allergies.  Dr. Ertel enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, travel and reading.

MariLee L. Gallagher, MD

Dr. Marilee L. Gallagher is the lead physician at University Premier Pediatricians, part of University Hospitals Medical Practices.  She practices at both the Mentor and Warrensville Heights offices and has admitting privileges at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital and other area hospitals.  Board certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Gallagher is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine where she is a Clinical Professor as well.  She served her internship at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital and residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.  Dr. Gallagher has special medical interests in breastfeeding, school problems and adolescent medicine.

Bradley Gascoigne III, MD practices Pediatrics as part of University Hospitals and University Premier Pediatricians.  He see patients in Warrensville Heights and Euclid.  Dr. Gascoigne has admitting privileges at UH Case Medical Center and UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.  Board certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Gascoigne is a graduate of Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut and the University of Cincinnati Medical College in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his internship at San Francisco General Hospital in San Francisco, California and his residency at the University of New Mexico Medical Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Dr. Gascoigne has special interests in preventative medicine and general pediatrics.

Cynthia R. Gherman, MD practices as part of University Hospitals and University Premier Pediatricians.  She sees patients in Euclid and has privileges at UH Case Medical Center, UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital and other area hospitals.  Board certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Gherman is a graduate of George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.  Dr. Gherman is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Case Western Reserve University.  She completed her internship and residency at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.  Dr. Gherman has special interests in breastfeeding, asthma and childhood development.

Eileen K. Gordon, MSN, CNP

Eileen K. Gordon, MSN, CNP practices Pediatrics as part of University Hospitals with University Premier Pediatricians.  She is a certified nurse practitioner and sees patients in Mentor and Euclid.  Eileen received a Master's of Science in Nursing at Case Western Reserve University.  She is a member of the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses and is a member of the clinical faculty at Case Western Reserve University School of Nursing.  Eileen has special interests in vaccines, travel medicine, breast feeding support, general pediatric and adolescent primary care and asthma management.

Jo Ann Jackson, MD practices as part of University Hospitals and University Premier Pediatricians.  She sees patients in Euclid and has privileges at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.  Board certified in Pediatrics, Adolescent Medicine and Internal Medicine, Dr. Jackson is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine.  Dr. Jackson is a Clinical Instructor at Case Western Reserve University.  She completed her Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency at Cleveland Clinic and her Adolescent/Pediatrics fellowship at MetroHealth Medical Center.  Dr. Jackson has a special interest in adolescent medicine and pediatrics.

Dr. Jon D. Kannensohn practices Pediatrics as part of University Hospitals with University Premier Pediatricians.  He sees patients at the Mentor and Concord offices and has admitting privileges at University Hospitals Case Medical Center and UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.  Board certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Kannensohn received his medical degree from the Ohio State University.  He completed his residency at the University of California, San Diego.  He has practiced in Lake County for the past eight years.  Dr. Kannensohn has special interests in infant/toddler care and sports medicine.

Usis, MD, FAAP practices as part of University Hospitals and University Premier Pediatricians.  He sees patients in Euclid and Mentor.  Dr. Usis has privileges at UH Case Medical Center, UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital and other local area hospitals.  Board Certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Usis received his medical degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.  He completed his residency in Pediatrics at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.  Dr. Usis has been practicing in the community for over 10 years.  He has special interests in asthma, allergies, care of infants/toddlers and general pediatrics.
